I have been using Quickbooks for years in my business. It works great for invoicing and keeping track of the finances. I recently decided that it was time for an upgrade. I needed to add the option of e-mail invoices and accepting credit cards. After looking at the various software choices offered by Quickbooks, I decided that it was time to move to Quickbooks Online. It offered everything I was looking for in an upgrade. It also had several added benefits.
The first benefit I considered was cost. While I needed to pay a monthly subscription for Quickbooks Online, the cost benefit over the short term was actually better. I did not need to put down a large one time payment, and instead was able to stretch the payment over the long term.
Another added benefit was that I would never need to worry about upgrading again. With the online version, upgrades are automatic, and I don't have to pay extra for the latest improvements. I will always be up to date and have ac cess to the latest features.
A third benefit was that I could now easily share Quickbooks with multiple users, including off site users. I have the ability to easily outsource tasks such as invoicing. I could do all of this without worrying about syncing or installing the software on multiple computers.
The final benefit is peace of mind. I now do not have to worry about my computer crashing and losing all of my important accounting information. If I lose a computer, I can easily just go to another computer and log on to Quickbooks Online. In fact, I recently upgraded to a new computer and did not have to worry about transferring the information. As soon as I logged on, it was there.
Quickbooks Online offers everything the offline versions do, plus lots of added benefits. For a low monthly cost, it is well worth it. When it is time for you to add or upgrade accounting software, I suggest you give Quickbooks Online a serious look.
