As a business owner, I know how important it is to have accounting packages. If I didn't have the software that I have today, I would find that it's fairly hard to manage my finances on a day by day basis. A common question that I see among many business forums is, "What is the best small business software package?"
Instead of searching for the answer online through countless forums and websites, I wanted to show you what packages that you can start looking at today. Hopefully, by the time you're done reading this, you will want to know of which package that you want to sign up for.
QuickBooks: QB has been around for a long time. Users tend to like the ease of use, and the reports that they have generated. While I've never used this particular software package, I can't say much about them. All I know is that the reviews online are relatively good. This will get a 8/10.
Microsoft Office: I like the Office series, and many people didn't know that they have an accounting package as well. If you can mess with Word, and get used to it, you will like this package too. Very user friendly, and again, great reviews online. Another 8/10.
PeachTree: The last one on my list is PeachTree. It's a package that has been around for a long time, but I've found it to be a headache. It's hard to manage, and hard to get around. This is my opinion, but it has worked for many others. I would give it a 6/10.
Want to know more about these business accounting software packages? I wrote up a little review on each one. Check them out and see what I think!
