Overwhelm, it's what we all feel when the deluge of business activities take over our lives. Overwhelm, it's what makes us procrastinate, shut down and feel ill at the thought of our lives. Overwhelm is something none of us wish to live with but we are innately driven to this place of unease.
So the question becomes, how do we rid ourselves of overwhelm? The top reason most people are overwhelmed is due to their business. They are doing tasks over and over again and the work load continues to grow and they fall behind further and further. The only way to thwart this is to automate your life, automate your business, automate your work flow and automate all of those ridiculous repetitive tasks that take over our time.
Using a web based CRM software will allow you to automate many of these tasks if not all.
Example #1: If you're in a position of speaking with clients they often ask the same questions, over and over. They want custom answers from you, over an d over. There's no need for this. Have an auto responder that sends them to a FAQ page. If their question isn't answered on the FAQ page then have a web form on there that they can fill out to get the answer. Then add it to the FAQ for others.
Example #2: Ordering. So many clients want to order over the phone. This is an absolute waste of time. Just send them to your online shopping cart. If the orders less than a few hundred bucks in my business I send them online. If it's a big order then I'll take the time on the phone. But don't get dragged down by small orders. It's no fun talking to someone for 15 minutes for a $50 order, not for me anyway.
Example #3: You need to follow up with clients. When you get their contact information it's imperative to follow up with them. By using a web based CRM software you can follow up with them in multiple different ways so it seems like an actual person is doing the work, not just software. We're talking about automated emai ls, automated phone calls (with recorded voice), automated postcards, text messages, etc. These can all be done 100% automatically without you doing a thing! That's the beauty of a good web based CRM software.
Example #4: By entering in all of your orders in one place and having website orders there as well you won't have to transfer data. You can even setup an API to move CRM website orders over to your accounting software, in my case quickbooks online.
